Anushka Shetty, Madhavan team up for silent thriller

Anushka Shetty made her Tamil debut with Madhavan starrer Rendu directed by Sundar C, which released more than a decade ago. Now, if reports are to be believed, the duo is coming together for a silent thriller aptly titled Silent. Well-known writer Kona Venkat will be writing and co-producing the movie. Reportedly, Hemant Madhukar of Vastadu Naa Raju fame will be directing the venture bankrolled by People Media Factory. 

The multi-lingual project in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi will also have international star cast, an informed source reveals. The story is set in Seattle and it will be the first Indian film to be shot completely over there. Madhavan was recently seen in a crime thriller web series Breathe and Anushka’s last was a horror thriller Bhaagamathie.
