Babu Tamizh wields the megaphone

Writer Babu Tamizh, who was in limelight for his brilliant script and screenplay in the recently released thriller Jiivi, turns filmmaker with a movie titled Ikk, which narrates the story of psychologically disturbed football player.

Debutant Yogesh plays the lead with Anika Vikhraman as his pair. National Award winner Guru Somasundaram will be seen in a crucial role. ‘Aadukalam’ Naren plays pivotal roles along with others.

Speaking about the film, Babu says, “It is a fantasy thriller with an intriguing screenplay. A promising football player, who gets seriously injured in his very first game, decides to sit back and analyse the events that led to this situation. He witnesses a startling revelation and how he overcomes his obstacles forms the rest narrated in an emotional and lively manner.” Gavaskar Avinash scores the music.
