Rajesh roped in for mega soap

Veteran actor Rajesh, who started as a hero in Tamil films, has done more than hundred movies and proved his mettle playing character roles. He forays into the small screen now with the mega soap Roja in which he essays a complex role.

He portrays ace lawyer ‘Tiger’ Manickam who loses his wife and daughter in a car accident. After the ghastly incident, he could not come to terms with reality and secludes himself from others. How his life changes for the better after he meets Roja, played by newcomer Priyanka, forms the rest of the plot. “Rajesh sir has given a realistic touch and his presence makes all the difference”, says BR Vijayalakshmi of Saregama India, which produces the serial.
