Taj Noor's new book on music a hit
After his unique attempt of musical rendition Thirukkural, classic Tamil literature, in folk form, Noor has tried his hand at writing.
Popular music composer Taj Noor from AR Rahman’s school has composed for hit movies including Vamsam, Strawberry, Etthan and has his kitty full with dozen films.
After his unique attempt of musical rendition Thirukkural, classic Tamil literature, in folk form, Noor has tried his hand at writing. He has written a book on music — Dharani Aalum Kanini Isai, which was launched by Balakrishnan, Chief Secretary Odhisha government at the book fair recently. The book delves into various segments including changes in film musical scenario from MS Viswanathan to Anirudh, technical advancement in music, change in people’s perception and tastes, how to compose songs in an easy manner, tips for aspiring lyricists and singers etc. A major attraction in the book was Noor has shared his 14-year musical journey working with Oscar winner AR Rahman. The book has received a good response from the public.
