Subiksha to romance RK Suresh

Actress Subiksha got her much-needed break post the release of Vijay Milton’s Kadugu, starring Rajakumaran and Bharath in the lead roles. She now has Nethra, Podhu Nalan Karudhi and Ra Ra Rajasekar in different stages of production. Now, the actress has been roped in to play the female lead in RK Suresh’s Vettai Nai, directed by Jai Shankar.
Speaking about her role, Subiksha says, “It is a village-based script and I play an innocent girl in the film. The story will chronicle the problems I face after marriage. The script narrated by Jai Shankar piqued my interest and it is a powerful role to portray. Shooting of this movie will commence from April 26 in Kodaikanal.”
Apart from Vettai Nai, the actress has also been signed on as the heroine in a film titled Seemathanni, which has Vidharth playing the hero. “Directed by debutant Vijay Mohan, this is a period film set in 1985. I play a slum dweller and the film’s shooting will commence sometime in May,” she shares about her upcoming project.
Subiksha still has a schedule left to be completed in director A Venkatesh’s Nethra and she would be joining the sets after wrapping up these two films.
