Senthil joins Pistha
The actor has now bagged an important role in director Ramesh Bharathi's Pistha which has Metro Shirish playing the hero.
Veteran actor Senthil who is known for his rib-tickling comedy sequences with Goundamani will be making his acting comeback with Vignesh Shivan’s Thanaa Serndha Kootam starring Suriya, Keerthy Suresh, Karthik and Ramya Krishnan in the lead roles. The actor has now bagged an important role in director Ramesh Bharathi’s Pistha which has Metro Shirish playing the hero.
Speaking to DC, about his new film, he says, “It is an interesting role and I will appear in the majority of portions alongside actor Shirish. Unfortunately, I’m not at liberty to reveal anything more about the story. I’m confident that the movie will appeal to the audience.”
He further adds that he will be wrapping up the shooting of Thanaa Serndha Kootam soon. “The team has completed the majority of the flick and only 10 days of shoot is pending,” he reveals. The actor essays the role of Suriya’s assistant in the movie.
Senthil also shares that he’s currently shooting for nearly five movies. “I’m also a part of July 16, a horror film directed by S Selvakumar. It has Ajmal Ameer and Saithaan fame Arundhathi Nair in the lead roles,” he quips. The actor is determined to sign more movies in future.
