Producer’s generous gesture

Comali, which was Jayam Ravi’s 24th film, has become one of the biggest blockbusters in Jayam Ravi’s career. Ravi played a coma patient who wakes up after 16 years and what happens thereafter formed the crux of Comali. The film was directed by debutant Pradeep.  

Following the success of the movie, Comali’s producer Isari Ganesh of Vels Film International has gifted a Honda City car for the young director. We also hear the movie’s Hindi remake rights have been bought by Boney Kapoor and in all probability Arjun Kapoor will reprise Ravi’s role.
