Madras HC grants advance bail to AR Murugadoss

Chennai: The Madras high court has granted anticipatory bail to A.R.Murugadoss, the director of the Tamil film ‘Sarkar’, starring popular film star Vijay, which came under harsh attack from the ruling AIADMK party for allegedly depicting certain scenes against the party. Allowing the anticipatory bail petition filed by A.R.Murugadoss, Justice G.K.Ilanthiraiyan granted anticipatory bail to him on the condition that he has to appear before the investigation officer when required. Following a complaint from one G.Devarajan of Sembium, the CCB had registered an FIR against Murugadoss.
