Neenu aka Marshina from Mollywood is the latest import in Tamil cinema. She is being introduced as the lead in Konjam Konjam directed by Udhay Shankaran, a pupil of national award-winner Lohithdas. Udhay has several albums and one Tamil film Virundhali to his credit.

The actress has been paired opposite Gokul. The movie revolves around brother-sister bond and actress Priya Mohan will portray the role of a sister.
Neenu, who won critical acclaim for her debut film as a child artiste in filmmaker-turned-politician Rajsenan’s Wound, is excited about her first film as a heroine.

“Wound, which was about child abuse, released a few years back and I played the lead character. I have also modeled for commercials in Kerala. In Konjam Konjam, I play a bubbly girl, who works in roadside mobile ironing shop. I thoroughly enjoyed shooting for the film and I feel quite confident that I would make a place for myself in Kollywood.”
