Sasikumar's protégé goes independent

Comedian-turned-hero Karunakaran’s movie Kadikara Manithargal with ace actor Kishore, which has been in the works for a while will soon see the light of day. Karuna will be romancing Sherin Pillakal, the Mollywood girl who will be making her debut in Tamil. Director Vaigarai Balan, a former assistant of Sasikumar turns independent with this flick.

“The movie is about the rural youth who come to the city in search of a job and their predicament to find accommodation. As a result, they keep hopping from one house to another. Besides humor, Karunakaran has a lot of space for emotions and he has done a wonderful job,” says Balan. 

“Kishore’s versatility is a known thing and he is a big asset to the movie,” the director adds. Apparently, after watching Sherin’s performance in her debut Malayalam movie Hi I’m Tony, she has been roped in for Kadikara...
