Simbu’s Maanaadu finally gets off the ground
Veteran filmmaker Bharathiraja, who is part of the cast, was also spotted at the event.
After battling its share of controversies, finally Silambarasan’s next, Maanaadu, under Venkat Prabhu’s direction, went on the floors with a formal pooja on Wednesday.
Kalyani Priyadarshan, who debuted in Tamil with Sivakarthikeyan’s Hero, will be seen romancing STR. The actor seemed to have shed a few kilos after vigorous workout sessions and a diet regime.
Veteran filmmaker Bharathiraja, who is part of the cast, was also spotted at the event.
Director/politician Seeman was present too. He wished Simbu. Pictures of them conversing are going viral on online.
SA Chandrashekar, Premgi and Karunakaran are also part of the cast. Produced by Suresh Kamatchi, the technical front comprises Yuvan Shankar Raja as the music composer, Richard Nathan behind the camera, Praveen KL as the editor andRajeevan as the production designer.
