A film on honor killing

Kutty Devadhai is a movie directed by Alexander which is inspired by the recent honour killing of a couple in Coimbatore. Teja Reddy and Chozhavandhan essay the lead pair. MS Bhaskar and Vela Ramamoorthy play key characters.

Says the director, “ We are in 21st century, still caste related crimes are on a high in rural areas. Kutty Devadhai deals with one such issue where an upper caste girl falls for a lower caste boy. How they run for their life from the relatives of the girl who are out to kill them forms the story”.
