Kranthi Prasad's debut film has a message
Some Hollywood technicians have also been roped in for SK
Kranthi Prasad, a product of the Film Institute and a known face in the ad film circuit, turns filmmaker with a mainstream movie titled Santhoshathil Kalavaram.
A suspense thriller, the film with a tagline ‘fight between negative and positive’, has an all- newcomer cast like Niranth, Rahul C Kalyan, Aaryan, Rudra, Gauthami, Soujanya among others.
Talking about his debut commercial venture, Kranthi says, “What happens when violence erupts when a group of people is in a joyful mood is the crux of my movie. Though a thriller, there's a mix of friendship, love, comedy, spiritualism and crime in proper proportions in the film. There's a strong message to the society."
Some Hollywood technicians have also been roped in for SK. While Paulius Kontijevas and Harris Logan Howes, who work in Hollywood movies, will be handling the cinematography, Arun Varma, who had his tutelage under Oscar winner Resul Pookutty will be in charge of sound effects.
