Vadivelu is back in the fold

Top comedian Vadivelu, last seen in Vijay’s 2017 film Mersal, is back in the fold. He had whipped up a controversy by walking out of Imsai Arasan 23 aam Pulikesi’s sequel. The good news is Kamal Haasan is the one who is bringing the ace humorist out of a hiatus with his Thalaivan Irukindraan.
Vadivelu’s return was revealed at the show organised to felicitate Ulaganayagan where the comedian was one of the invitees. Kamal had earlier announced that he is all set to revive the long-pending film, Thalaivan Irukkindraan that he had announced many years ago. Said to be a story based on modern day politics and the underworld, Thalaivan Irukkindraan is penned and directed by Kamal, besides his playing the lead protagonist. And the movie is jointly bankrolled Raaj Kamal Film International along with Lyca Productions. A.R.Rahman will be composing music for the magnum opus.
From Vaigal Puyal’s speech at the musical event it could be inferred that he would be joining hands with Kamal Haasan in the project. Vadivelu also said that Kamal’s political entry is to be welcomed and that he would pray for his success at Ayyanar temple in Paramakudi, his home town as well s Kamal’s.
