Actress Manisha Shree, who was previously seen in Iruku Aana Illa, is now awaiting the release of Bongu, Veera Shivaji, Traas (Hindi-Tamil bilingual) and an untitled Hindi project in Bollywood! Speaking to DC, Manisha says, “I play an MP’s daughter in the Nutty and Ruhi Singh flick Bongu. The story revolves around me and most of my scenes are with Nutty.

Considering his stature, I was very nervous to act with him. In fact, on the first day of shoot, he was observing me from afar and I had to get the scene right. Somehow, I got it done in the first take and he appreciated me. He’s very down-to-earth and gives suggestions often on how to improvise a scene.”

Manisha is also all praises for Shamlee, with whom she shares screen space in Vikram Prabhu’s Veera Shivaji. “Vikram is always quiet on the sets, but Shamlee is a lot more friendly and has no airs around her,” she quips. Talking about her Hindi debut, Manisha states, “I play the role of an innocent woman who is trapped by a ghost. My second Hindi film is a female-oriented movie and the official announcement regarding the cast is still awaited.” After taking inspiration from Tamannaah’s performance in Devi(l), the petite actress  has dreams of playing a dual role in one of her films in the  future.
