Chimbudevan moves on to his next film
The director has now moved on to his next project a film that's being bankrolled by Venkat Prabhu under his home banner Black Ticket Company.
Looks like the seemingly never-ending problems between producer Shankar and actor Vadivelu have prompted Chimbudevan to shelve the sequel to his blockbuster film Imsai Arasan 22aam Pulikesi. The director has now moved on to his next project — a film that’s being bankrolled by Venkat Prabhu under his home banner Black Ticket Company.
Vijayalakshmi of Chennai 28 and Bigg Boss 2 fame, who plays the film’s female lead, has confirmed reports of the film going on floors on Twitter. She writes, “Starting my new movie with Dir Chimbudevan sir n my darling producer @vp_offl. Need ur love and support.#shootmode @blacktktcompany.”
According to sources, the film, an anthology of six stories, will feature six heroes. Apart from Vijayalakshmi, Prabhu’s regulars — Jai, Vaibhav, Shiva and Premgi — are also expected to be seen in major roles.
