Rana Daggubati to play a scientist

After Ghazi, a film about a missing submarine, Rana Daggubati is all set to act in an upcoming film which is about the  steamship SS Vaitarna — also known as ‘Vijli’ — that went missing in 1888. The actor will be playing the role of a scientist in the film.

The film, which will be directed by Dhwanil Mehta, is based on the story penned by Yogesh Joshi. The period drama will also have a release in Telugu and Tamil.
