Vijay Sethupathi, Dhanush and Siddharth donate to Kerala fund
The actor has said that he believes that social media has the “special power to create magical movements overnight.â€
Contributions from Tamil actors have been pouring into the Kerala CM’s Distress Relief Fund. Most recently, Dhanush has donated Rs 15 lakh and Vijay Sethupathi has donated Rs 25 lakh. Siddharth, who’s contributed Rs 10 lakh to the Fund has also created the hashtag #KeralaDonationChallenge to urge people to contribute to the cause in any way possible.
The actor has said that he believes that social media has the “special power to create magical movements overnight.”
He’s tweeted, “Every rupee donated towards the cause of flood relief in Kerala makes a difference. Please post your donation proof online if you wish to inspire others to do the same. Let us call this #KeralaDonationChallenge. We all know how much the Internet loves a challenge.”
