No more Tamil films on some screens

The shortlisted theatres won't be allowed to screen movie indefinitely, after October 17, which includes Vada Chennai, Sandakozhi 2 and Ezhumin.

The Anti Piracy squad of Tamil Film Producers Council, which is on a constant vigil to prevent piracy of new films, has sent a notice to QUBE to not give the KDM license to 9 theatres in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, through the  TFPC president Vishal. The shortlisted theatres won’t be allowed to screen movie indefinitely, after October 17, which includes Vada Chennai, Sandakozhi 2 and Ezhumin.  

The theatres in the list are — Murugan and Nayanthara theatres in Krishangiri, Gomathi in Mayiladuthurai, Ellora in Karur,  Chetpet Padmavathy in Arani, Sathyam in Bengaluru, Kavithalaya in Karur, Jai Sai Krishna in Virudhachalam and Cinepolis theatre in Mangalore.
