Ace KJ Yesudas rendered a number alongside SPB in last year’s film Keni hailing brotherhood. Now, the 79-year-old croons a revolutionary song for Vijay Antony in maestro Ilayaraja’s composition for the upcoming flick Tamilarasan.
Interestingly, Isaignani and Yesudas are coming together after a gap of a decade with their last movie having been Mammootty’s period film Pazhassi Raja in 2009.
The new message oriented number, which goes like this —Porutthadhu Podhum, Pongida Venum, Puyalena Vaa penned by Jayaram was recently recorded at Raja’s studio.
Tamilarasan has Remya Nambeesan playing Antnony’s pair. The ensemble supporting cast include Suresh Gopi, Radha Ravi, Sonu Sood, Yogi Babu, Sangeetha, Kasturi, Robo Shankar, Chaya Singh, Kathir, Maunishkanth, Madhumitha, YG Mahendran, Srilekha and director Mohan Raja’s little son Pranav making his debut.
