Mysshkin became emotional at the success meet of his latest film Savarakatthi, which he produced and wrote and also acted as one of the leads. The critically acclaimed Savarakatthi, directed by Mysshkin's brother Adhitya, was also declared a box office hit.
Speaking at the event, Mysshkin said, “I am still a struggler in Tamil cinema. I don't look at films as hits or misses, but I am passionate about making good films. It was a great feeling when Savarakatthi received tremendous response from critics and public. It was a gratifying moment.”
Poorna, as the hearing impaired pregnant woman, was praised for her award winning performance. She said, “Initially I was so apprehensive if I can pull off the heavy role. I came to films without taking any course in acting. Thanks to Mysshkin sir for giving me a lifetime role. He taught me as to how to go about it, giving me proper rehearsals. I lived in the character of Subadhra on those 25 days of shooting.”
Shaking her head, she adds, “I am still to come out of Subadhra. If I have a rebirth, I want to be born as the cute innocent girl like Subadhra.”
