Aparna Balamurali bags a meaty role

Rasu Ranjith, a winner of the reality show Naalaya Iyakkunar, is making an attempt to enter mainstream commercial cinema with a film titled Theedhum Nandrum. The film stars Malayalam actress Aparna Balamurali of 8 Thottakkal fame as the female lead, and Easan, Rasu Ranjith and Sandeep Raj as the three male leads.

“The film is about three friends who indulge in small-time thieving to meet their daily needs. It’s an action thriller, which is based on the theme, ‘you reap what you sow’. The narrative style will be a new experience for the audience,” the director claims. Actress Lijimol Jose, yet another M-town import, will be seen playing a crucial role in the film. And the music has been composed by Sathya.
