What’s in a name?

Karthik Naren shot to fame with his debut D 16 and his next release, Mafia-Chapter 1, was much talked about for the style in which it was made.

However, his second film, Naragasooran, featuring Arvind Swamy, Shriya, Sundeep and Aathmika, has been lying in the cans for a very long time and it was speculated that the film would have an OTT release.

Now, referencing the recent changes in the names of many places in Tamil Nadu, Karthik has come out with an idea on Instagram.

Expressing surprise over the new spelling of his native Coimbatore, he wrote, “‘Koyampaththoor’ Ada Paavigala’. He followed up by saying he planned to change the name of his movie from Naragasooran to Narakasuran, to see if it worked!
