Jitthan Ramesh turns villain for a thriller
The entire film has been shot in and around Goa.
Jitthan Ramesh, last seen in an adult comedy, now plays a villainous character in a film titled Miratchi. Directed by MV Krishna, the film has Bollywood actress Shraddha Das and Bengali heroine Ena Saha as the leading ladies.
Talking to DC, Krishna says, “Miratchi is a thriller based on a scandalous incident that took place in Goa. I have given a quirky treatment to the screenplay. Ramesh will be seen as a complex character, with highly negative shades. A challenging role, which he has not attempted so far.”
He adds, “We shot the climax scene for three days continuously day and night with just one hour's break in between. It was very taxing, but at the end of the day when you watch it on screen, you will realise its impact.”
The entire film has been shot in and around Goa.
Ajay Ghosh, Sai, Sana and Nikhita Anilkumar play supporting roles. While Ravi does the cinematography, Anand is the composer.
