Thriller shot in USA gets release date
The film is directed by Sarathy who has a few short films to his credit.
Shaam's much anticipated action thriller Kaaviyyan is finally hitting the marquee on October 18. Shot completely in US, the film is based on real life shooting incidents. The movie will see Shaam essaying an Indian cop who reaches America to solve a case. And unit sources said that Shaam has added a few kilos to look fit and strong for the police officer role. His on screen pairs include Aathmiya, who debuted as Sivakarthikeyan's pair in Manamkotthi Paravai and Sridevi Kumar, a US based Malayali girl.
The film is directed by Sarathy who has a few short films to his credit. Srinath appears in a crucial role. A few Hollywood actors - Justin Vikash, Lucas and Jennifer - have also been brought on board.
"Technically, it will be on par with Hollywood standards as we are using all the latest technical support available in the US," claims its director. Shyam Mohan composes music for Kaaviyyan which is bankrolled by KV Sabareesh.
