Rajinikanth\'s next with Sirutthai Siva grabbed by Sun Pictures

Sun Pictures, who had earlier joined hands with Rajini in Enthiran and Petta, announced the new film on Friday on their social media handle.

We had reported that Rajinikanth would be teaming up with Sirutthai Siva for a film after completing Darbar with AR Murugadoss. The big news now is that Sun Pictures has once again grabbed the opportunity to bankroll the movie, which is Thalaivar's 168th.   Sun Pictures, who had earlier joined hands with Rajini in Enthiran and Petta, announced the new film on Friday on their social media handle.

Said to be a rural entertainer, it is learnt it was actor Suriya, who was supposed to start his next with Siva, had agreed to postpone his film after the Superstar himself called him and requested him to release Siva for four months. Sources say that Siva was planning to work with Superstar after Viswasam, but a prior commitment with producer Gnanavel Raja required him to work on a script for Suriya. However, Siva's predicament was sorted out, thanks to Suriya's gesture.
