“I have acrophobia and it was very tough for me when I worked in the bank heist action thriller Suttu Pidikka Uttharavu which has major stunts happening atop buildings,” actor Vikranth remarked talking about his upcoming film.

“Frankly speaking, I didn’t want to be a part of this film at first. When director Ramprakash Rayappa informed me that it’s a multi-starrer project, I wanted to skip it as my previous ones were of a similar pattern. Moreover, I was reluctant to take up this offer, as I was busy with a solo hero subject like Bakrid.  However, when Ramprakash made a request at least to listen to the script, I decided to give it a try. Within 10 minutes of narration, I was completely awestruck by the way he narrated and my character arc. Well, I had no options, but to get onboard.”

The film may have Mysshkin and Suseenthiran in crucial roles. Athulya Ravi appears in the de-glam character of a slum dweller.

Sharing almost the same view, Mysshkin said, “Young Ram Prakash is a charged person. When he approached me, I told him I would not act. But he insisted and just to test him, I asked if he could narrate in 2 minutes. But, he literally floored me with a 2-minute line narration. I had no option but to say ‘yes’ to him. I play an assistant commissioner and it’s an interesting premise.”

Upset with the way his picture occupied a larger space than Mahatma Gandhi in the poster design of the film, he said, “Gandhiji is a Mahan.  He is one of the greatest men. We should always respect him. I am a small person in front of him. Putting my face bigger than that of Gandhiji in the promo poster is not acceptable. The team and the designer have to reconsider and change it.”

Susee, on his part, hailed the fight masters, saying, “The movie will bring laurels to Ram Prakash. His detailing was amazing. Stunt masters have given their life to the film. There are so many action blocks, which are mind-blowing. My costumes were different. In a film, which runs for 2 hours, there are only 25 minutes of dialogue portions. It was a new experience to work in SPU, which is a fast paced thriller.”

Produced by Kalpataru Pictures, the movie is scheduled for June 14 release.
