Atharvaa, who is just eight films old, has already managed to strike a balance between content-driven roles and commercial films. His performance in director Bala’s Paradesi, fetched him several   awards and international accolades. The actor currently has four films in his kitty, which are in different stages of production.

Now rumours are rife that the Kanithan actor is said to have been approached by director Mani Ratnam for his next film. Confirming the news, a source from the actor’s camp says, “It is true that he is in talks with director Mani Ratnam for a film, but he hasn’t signed on anything as of now.”

Mani Ratnam is now busy with the production of Kaatru Veliyidai, starring Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari. The OK Kanmani director is expected to work on this film, once he completes his present commitments.

Atharvaa is currently shooting for Ajay Gnanamuthu’s Imaikaa Nodigal alongside Nayanthara and Gemini Ganesanum Suruli Rajanum, which has Pranitha, Aishwarya Rajesh, Regina Cassandra and Aditi Pohankar as the female leads.
