Akshara Haasan in Tamil web series
Instead of a film, the Shamitabh actress has chosen a web series for her next, titled Fingertip.
Akshara Haasan was seen playing the lead in Vikram starrer Kadaram Kondan and opposite to Abi Hassan in a challenging role. She debuted in Tamil in Ajith starrer Vivegam, after which the pretty actress has been shuttling between Bollywood and K'town. Instead of a film, the Shamitabh actress has chosen a web series for her next, titled Fingertip.
In an earlier chat, when Akshara had accepted the lead in a web series in the action thriller Goodbye Girl, she had said that irrespective of big or small screen, if the script and her character fascinate her she would gladly accept.
From the intriguing trailer released recently, Fingertip appears to be a techno-thriller about the perils of using smart phones. Directed by Shivakar, the series is being bankrolled by ace filmmaker Vishnu Vardhan who had worked with the likes of Ajith, Rana and Arya. Ashwin Kakamanu, Sunaina, Gayathrie and Madhusudhana Rao are her co-stars. With music by Deena Dayalan, the series is shot by George C Williams and Dinesh Krishnan.
