The recently released trailer of Dora has grabbed the attention of netizens and made them await the release of the flick with bated breath. According to official reports, the film will release on March 31 alongside KV Anand’s Kavan. Directed by Doss Ramasamy, this film starring Nayanthara in the lead role is produced by director Sarkunam.

At a time when the songs of Dora are going viral, the team has been hit by a catastrophe. The film has been accused of plagiarism and theft charges. Sridhar, a television scriptwriter and director has stated that Dora is his story and he has registered it with the writers’ union.

When DC contacted a source close to the team, the charges were rubbished as ‘false accusations’. The source adds, “Director Doss Ramasamy has put his hard work and has worked on the story on his own. He doesn’t have anything to hide and is open to proving that his script is different from that of Sridhar’s. He has also registered his story with the writer’s union and if they compare both the scripts, they would know the truth.”

Dora’s premise is about a possessed car and its repercussions. The film’s music is composed by Vivek-Mervin and the star cast includes Thambi Ramaiah, Harish Uthaman, Shan and Tharun Kshatriya.
