Shruti Haasan rubbishes marriage rumours

Recently, there were reports suggesting that Shruti Haasan is getting married to her longtime beau Michael Corsale by the end of the year. The actress was quick to react in her own inimitable style. The Singam actress, who spent her New Year and Christmas with Michael, rubbished the rumours. She took to her social media handle and said, “Really? That’s news to me! (sic)” . 

In an Instagram post, Shruti also revealed in self-deprecating manner, “We are the gushiest most annoying people we swore we would never become (sic)”.
Shruti Haasan has been reportedly in a steady relationship with London-based actor Michael Corsale of Italian descent for the last few years. The actress never misses a chance to spend quality time with him whenever she gets some break. She even posted a picture of her with Michael spending time during Christmas and wrote, “”Another year another Christmas with you @themichaelcorsale - so thankful for you (sic)”.

The bubbly girl made her television debut recently with a talk show Hello Sago and has an untitled Hindi film with director Mahesh Manjrekar costarring Vidyut Jammwal. Though she was also part of her dad Kamal Haasan’s film Sabaash Naidu, the movie was put on hold after the latter met with an accident at his house more than a year ago.
