AP Sreethar, the noted artist-turned-producer and actor, has launched a museum in the city that is special for its uniqueness and creativity. Called Click Art Museum, it is touted to be India’s first and biggest Trick Art Museum with 3D interactive paintings. None other than Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan, with whom Sreethar shares a close bond, launched the logo! Going through the pictures, Kamal said, “It is a very innovative idea that is bound to click.”

After inaugurating the museum and taking pictures with select paintings, actor/director Parthiepan said, “It is a mind-blowing experience — I am impressed!”

Talking about his new initiative Sreethar said, “There are 12 countries which have Click and Trick Art museums. I have been working on this for quite some time, and  finally succeeded in bringing it to India. Without spectators, this concept is incomplete, so we’ve provided a small space near the paintings where the onlookers can stand. When a picture is clicked, you become a part of the artwork. One has to visit it to experience the awesome feeling!”

Some of the exciting themes (paintings) are: Mama u wanna hate me — Adam giving the apple, And the Best Award goes to… — Oscar presenting an Oscar Award, Naduvula konjam kadhavai kaanom — what if someone peeps over you in the restroom? Music with Monalisa — she offers to play music for you… wow! Naanum Rowdythaan — come fight hands-on with Alexander the Great!
