It looks like bromance is the aspect that Kollywood directors now want to make films on. When maverick filmmaker like Prabhudheva brought contemporary actors Karthi and Vishal together for his film Karuppu Raja Vellai Raja, we were sure that this trend would catch on.

Now, director Jeeva Shankar, who has churned out films like Naan, Amara Kaaviyam and Yaman, has managed to bring best friends Jiiva and Arya for his fourth directorial. A source in the know reveals, “The news is indeed true and the project will be funded by Lyca Productions. The pre-production of the film is underway and the rest of the cast is being finalised. The official announcement regarding the film will be out in the coming days.”

While the director and his team of assistant directors are busy zeroing in on the technical crew, rumour has it that music director Ghibran and editor Sathish Surya are part of the movie.

We are also unsure whether Jiiva and Arya are pitted against each other in the movie. However, it will be interesting to see what character these talented actors get to play in the movie. Nonetheless, this untitled film is sure to rake its profits and entertain the audience.
