Karthi to romance Rakul once again
Veteran actor Karthik who is back to acting in a successful manner makes a special appearance.
It is official now! Karthi and Rakul Preet who made a cute pair in the action film Theeran Adhikaaram Ondru is once again teaming up for a movie, tentatively titled Karthi 17. Rajath Ravishankar, a former associate of Saravanan, Kannan and Anurag Kashyap will debut and wield the megaphone.
Other star cast includes Prakash Raj, Ramya Krishnan, R.J. Vignesh, Amrutha and Renuka. Veteran actor Karthik who is back to acting in a successful manner makes a special appearance. One may recall Karthik's spirited performance as a straightforward CBI officer in Suriya's last offering Thaana Serndha Koottam.
S Lakshman Kumar of Prince Pictures, who earlier produced Suriya's blockbuster hit movie Singam 2 is bankrolling this project. He is currently busy with Trisha's horror genre Mohini, scheduled to release soon.
