It’s been a while in K’town since the makers indulged in various forms of quirky promotions for their films. Recently we saw a trailer for Suriya’s Si 3 cut in English, which is a first-of-its-kind for a Tamil movie.

Now, it has gone one step ahead! Sony Pictures, who is releasing the final chapter of the Hollywood movie The Resident Evil, the popular sci-fi series and one of the longest running franchises, have come out with a Tamil promotional song Yaro Ival, which has been composed by Santhosh Dayanidhi of Inimey Ippadithan fame. Sunitha Sarathy’s vocals have added the much-needed intensity for the number.

With the visuals incorporated from the film, the song is a tribute to the lead character essayed by Milla Jovovich, one of the few actors to have successfully helmed as the lead in the entire series of the franchise.
