Sam CS emerges on top in 2019

Looks like 2020 is starting on a good note for music director Sam CS. The composer has been credited with scoring the maximum number of Tamil films in 2019. Sam has composed for eight Tamil albums, including the blockbuster Karthi film Kaithi, Prabhu Deva’s Devi 2, Ispade Rajavum Idhaya Raniyum, Jada, Ayogya, Gorilla, K13 and 100.
To covey the intensity and depth of a scene, it’s always the background score and re-recording which are crucial. And this has been Sam’s forte ever since he emerged into the limelight with his brilliant BGM in Vikram Vedha.
With the 2019 Diwali release Kaithi, a film with an unconventional approach, he once again proved his undisputed control over the background music. The musical score for Ispade Rajavum Idhaya Raniyum was also appreciated.
Sam also looks forward to a handful of flicks in 2020, including Madhavan’s Rocketry: The Nambi Effect.
