Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep is back in the spotlight as the makers of his 47th film officially revealed the title: "Mark". Jointly produced by Sathya Jyothi Films and Kichcha Creations, and presented by T.G. Thyagarajan with Senthil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan bankrolling it, the project is directed by Vijay Karthikeya. This big-ticket action drama is scheduled for a grand Pan-India release this Christmas.
The title glimpse, unveiled today, offers a striking introduction to the central character, Ajay Markandeya, played by Sudeep. The word "Mark" expands to MAD, ATTITUDE, RUTHLESS, KING, reflecting his powerful persona. Sudeep’s intense screen presence dominates the glimpse, elevated by Ajaneesh Loknath’s electrifying background score and raw visuals. It has generated strong buzz on social media.
The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has granted a U/A certificate to the film. The production house announced on social media: "Certified. Charged. Ready." and "Mark Kannada - Certified U/A." The action entertainer will release worldwide on December 25.
Mark is the latest collaboration between Sudeep and Kartikeyaa, following their previous hit Max, and has sparked excitement among fans. In a recent interaction, Sudeep praised the team, saying, "Everybody worked very hard. Nobody took any rest." With its Pan-India appeal and high-octane action, Mark is poised to be one of the biggest entertainers of his career.
