Janhvi Kapoor's Dancing Prowess To Be Tested in ‘PEDDI’?

Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor is all set to test her dancing mettle as she gears up to match the dancing steps of reigning star Ram Charan in their upcoming film PEDDI. The actress recently wrapped up a short shooting schedule and is currently attending the Cannes Film Festival before resuming work after May 25.

“She had three working days after May 15 before flying to Cannes,” reveals a source. “She’s expected to be back on set by the end of May, with a romantic dance number scheduled to be shot in the first week of June.”

The peppy track, composed by music maestro A.R. Rahman, is expected to be a visual and musical spectacle. Janhvi has to undergo intense rehearsals to match steps with Ram Charan, who is widely recognized as one of the best dancers in the Indian film industry.

“Though Janhvi has done dance numbers in Bollywood and also performed in Devara alongside Jr. NTR, this song will be a true test of her dancing skills,” the source adds. “She’ll need to bring her A-game to complement Ram Charan’s dynamic moves and make the song memorable and chart-topping.”

Meanwhile, Janhvi made her much-anticipated debut at the 78th Cannes Film Festival earlier this week. She graced the red carpet in a bespoke blush pink couture lehenga by Tarun Tahiliani—handcrafted in Banaras and featuring a sculpted, contemporary design paired with a traditional ghungat. Fans have praised the ensemble as a heartfelt tribute to her mother, the legendary Sridevi.
