The Iranian filmmaker Jafer Panahi was privileged to receive a standing ovation in the Annual 78 Cannes festival. “It was Just an accident” the thriller film directed by Jafer won the Palme D’Or award at the Film festival, also winning top prizes for movies that portrayed the critiques of the oppression faced by the people in his country. The 64-year-old director dedicated all his prizes to the Iranians suggesting the people to keep their differences and work towards freedom.
