Isha Koppikar

On Tuesday, Bollywood actor Isha Koppikar posted a video saying that she is a proud 'andhbhakt' (blind supporter). She added that her devotion is not towards any political party, but that she is proud of the way the country is changing.

She asked people to stop asking what the country has done for them and instead ask how much they are contributing to the nation.

She started the video by introducing herself and saying, "Yes, I am an andhbhakt. If it is bhakti (devotion) to love your country and want to see it progress, then yes, I am proud to be a bhakt… andhbhakt. But my blind devotion is not towards any political party; it’s towards my country. Nation first. I can question the government and disagree with its policies, and still love my country wholeheartedly."

"Patriotism is not just about speech. It's about action. Instead of always asking what the country gave us, for a change, we should ask what we have done for it. The country is genuinely undergoing positive change," she added.
