Mehreen is upset with fake news about her personal life. Besides a fake piece of news published by a daily, she has also been victimized by the tweaking of her Wikipedia page. She has clarified that she is not married yet.
"Nowadays it’s bizzare how misinformation can spread without any repercussions for it. And journalism has definitely taken a hit when it comes to stupid paid articles. I have stayed shut about this for two years but because of constant harassment I choose to speak up today," the Mahanubhavudu actress began saying.
She slammed the daily that put out an article about her getting married to someone she doesn't even know. "Clearly a lowlife who has hacked into my Wikipedia and tried to get his two mins of fame (is behind this). So here I am setting the record straight. I am not married to anyone. But trust me when I do decide to, I promise you the whole world will know," she further wrote.
