Ironic: Alanis' former manager is said to have used the money to fund his lavish lifestyle

Singer Alanis Morissette has reportedly lost around $4.7 million after her former manager Jonathan Schwartz allegedly used the money to fund a “lavish and glitzy lifestyle” for himself. According to TMZ.com, Alanis filed a lawsuit to investigate Jonathan after she fired him and hired a new manager, who discovered that the money could not be accounted for.

Jonathan reportedly told his company that Alanis asked him to invest the money in a marijuana business, which the singer is denying. The company itself — GSO Business Management — has said that Jonathan acted on his own and was a
“disgrace” to the firm.
