Rock and roll legend Paul McCartney was reportedly turned away from a Grammy after party on Monday night, which was being hosted by rapper Tyga.

Paul McCartney was accompanied by fellow rockers Beck and Taylor Hawkins and Hollywood actor Woody Harrelson when he was stopped at the entry to the club by a bouncer. According to DailyMail.co.uk, Paul joked, “How VIP do we gotta get? We need another hit guys, we need another hit.”

A spokesperson later claimed that Paul was actually trying to get into DJ Mark Ronson’s party and left when he realised he was at the wrong venue, while Tyga tweeted, “Why would I deny Paul McCartney stop it. He’s a legend. I don’t control the door. I had no knowledge Sir Paul was there. I just performed and left.”
