Maggie Smith returns to London Stage

The solo drama will see Smith play Pomsel, who was one of the last surviving eyewitnesses of the Nazi power.

Theatre legend Maggie Smith is coming back to the London theatre circuit after 12 long years.

According to Hollywoodreporter.com, the actor will be seen playing the role of Brunhilde Pomsel in the new play by Christopher Hampton, A German Life and the play will be directed by Jonathan Kent and will be open to audience from April 12 in the Bridge Theatre.

Smith’s last London theater appearance was in the 2007 West End premiere of Edward Albee’s The Lady from Dubuque.
