Ashton Kutcher stirred up still waters by posting allegedly sexist comments on Twitter. He has been getting a lot of negative feedback for it, and now, Kutcher is speaking out.

JustJared.com reports that the actor had announced on LinkedIn that he will be hosting a “live open dialogue” about gender equality in the workplace while sharing some questions he hoped would start a conversation.

Some of those questions, however, received lots of criticism. The questions were, “What are the rules for dating in the work place? Flirting?”, “What are the clear red lines?” and “How do we create channels to promote female entrepreneurship?”

Fans called the questions “grossly offensive,” “embarrassing,” and “sexist”, after which Kutcher decided to address it. “Thank you everyone for the feedback on the questions I posted on LinkedIn. Good and bad. Already a learning experience,” Ashton started off his series of tweets. “I’ve already offended some folks by asking the wrong questions. I’m certain, given the sensitivity of the topic, I will say other things wrong,” he wrote, candidly.
