Bryan Singer suspended from Bafta nomination

Bryan Singer, the director of Bohemian Rhapsody, has been removed from the film’s Bafta Awards nomination list amid allegations he sexually abused underaged boys years ago, reports TheHollywood-Reporter.com.

“In light of recent very serious allegations, BAFTA has informed Bryan Singer that his nomination for Bohemian Rhapsody has been suspended, effective immediately (sic),” BAFTA said in a statement.

“BAFTA notes Mr Singer’s denial of the allegations. The suspension of his nomination will therefore remain in place until the outcome of the allegations has been resolved (sic),” the Academy added.
