Ash's evening in Paris

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan lit up the ramp at the Paris Fashion Week on Sunday, representing L’Oreal Paris.

The 47-year-old actress, who has been L’Oreal’s brand ambassador for years, wore a floor-length, full-sleeved caped white outfit at the Le Defile L’Oreal Paris 2021 Womenswear Spring/Summer 2022 show, held against the imposing backdrop of the Eiffel Tower.

She walked hand-in-hand with British star Helen Mirren. Others on the runway included singer-actress Camilla Cabello, Australian star Katherine Langford, How To Get Away with Murder actress Aja Naomi King, Hollywood star Amber Heard and Game Of Thrones actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau.

“We did it, and we have never been this proud of our beloved L’Oreal Paris Family, who created a show full of self-expression and diversity. Standing together, feminine and feminists, celebrating women all over the world,” the cosmetics major posted on its Instagram handle.

Abhishek Bachchan, who is accompanying his wife along with their daughter Aaradhya, also posted a boomerang clip of the illuminated Eiffel Tower on Instagram, with the song La Vie en Rose playing in the background. He captioned it “Paris when it sparkles.”

This is believed to be Aishwarya’s first trip abroad in two years, and the first vacation the family is taking in several months.
