Taylor Swift has not embarked on a world tour for Lover. And she has a good reason for that.

The You Need To Calm Down singer shared her thoughts in a new interview with host Zane Lowe at Beats 1 radio. Talking about the changes happening in her life as well as her career, Taylor told Zane that she’s got some pretty intense things happening with her family right now.

“I can’t go on long tours and not have the ability to go home if I need to. I have priorities that aren’t just touring now, and [the fans] have been really respectful of that in the past,” Taylor said. Taylor had revealed earlier this year that her mother Andrea, who was diagnosed with cancer in 2015, is currently undergoing a relapse.

However, as per Justjared, Taylor will be performing her Lover Fest East + West events in a couple of places in the US and in Europe.
