Tristan Thompson may be an NBA star but his achievements on the court have been marred by a cheating scandal. The Cleveland Cavaliers player and Khloe Kardashian were a power couple till Tristan’s infidelity came to light a few days before the birth of their child, True Thompson.

Ever since this incident, he’s been at the receiving end of social media vitriol and has been quiet online ever since. Not even the team’s recent victory over the Indiana Pacers could undo the damage. In fact, Tristan, who broke his silence on social media after the cheating scandal with a post about the match, is still very much a controversial figure.

E! News reports that fans did not like the way he tweeted, not addressing the scandal at all but mentioning the match alone. They were quick to defend Khloe.
