Toxic Director Geetu Mohandas Pens Emotional Tribute to Yash on His Birthday

Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups, starring Yash, is one of the most highly anticipated films of the year. The movie is slated for a theatrical release on March 19. To celebrate Yash’s birthday on January 8, the makers of Toxic released a teaser for the film.

While the teaser received a mixed response from various quarters, director Geetu Mohandas took to Instagram to share a heartfelt note about Yash and their collaboration.

Sharing a black-and-white photo of the actor, she wrote: “A rare fusion of talent and superstardom is a formidable combination. I am immensely proud of Yash—not just for the performance of Raya, which the world is yet to witness, but for the discipline and heart he brought to our film every single day. The film features an ensemble cast including Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, Akshay Oberoi, Sudev Nair, and Rukmini Vasanth in significant roles.
